  I. Escaping the Dungeon

Before anything else, you need to escape your prison cell.
The cacao manacles around your limbs are edible. Eat them.
Your cell’s cheesecake door is edible. Eat it. The gruyère
guard in the dungeon to the north is also edible. Eat him.

If you’re ever recaptured, just eat your manacles again.

  II. Eating the Six Courses

Once you’re free to explore the castle, you’ll find six
main courses to eat for dinner. You can eat them in any
order, but you must eat all six to complete the game.

The six courses can be located in these rooms:

  1. Undercroft
  2. Banquet Hall
  3. Courtyard
  4. Bower
  5. Baron’s Cabinet
  6. Great Hall

 ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

  1. Undercroft

Master Pokerounce has to be disabled before you can
leave the dungeon. Eat his stool and he’ll collapse.
In order to eat him, though, you’ll need protection.
You can find cheese in the armory or vegetables in
the pantry to wear as armor. Eat one to wear it.

 ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

  2. Banquet Hall

You won’t be able to eat the Amuse-Bouche Quartet as
long as they’re unified against you. Interrupt their
banquet by eating all the sardines in the storeroom
and then the kitchen. Now try eating the Quartet.

 ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

  3. Courtyard

Jenny Lettucehead is too quick to catch, but she’ll
stop for something to eat. You can find nightsoil to
feed her outside in the castle’s moat. Eat it and then
spit it out again in the courtyard.

To access the moat, lower the drawbridge by
eating the toffee chain in the gatehouse.
The havarti guard will try to stop you.
Eat his swordfish and then eat him.

Once you’ve given the nightsoil to Jenny, you’ll need
to jump onto her head from above. You can jump from
the balcony after you eat the pirouline balustrade.
If the balcony is inaccessible, try the garderobe.

 ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

  4. Bower

Eat the clouds to illuminate the castle’s ghost.
Eat the onions in the dungeon’s west cell. Blow
their fumes in the bower to make the ghost cry.

After you eat the ghost, you can access the upper
levels through the pastry maiden in the dungeon’s
east cell. Eat it to open it.

 ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

  5. Baron’s Cabinet

Eat a turnip or an eggplant in the pantry to dress
yourself as a vegetable. Eat the baron’s basket and
the baron will eat you. Travel downward through his
four stomachs. Examine the shadowy figure.

Once you’ve entered the Val sans Retour, wander in
any direction until you discover a woman. Eat her.

 ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

  6. Great Hall

In order to enter the great hall’s north end, disable
the durkha guard by eating the breadstick grates in
  the western tapestry chamber.

You need to milk the cow. Eat her udder to milk her.
However, you have to apply pressure to her body from
  her southern side first.

In order to enter the great hall’s south end, walk
southward into the fireplace in the baron’s cabinet.
Eat the barbecue sauce on the bricks. Go downward,
then walk northward to enter the cow.

You can’t apply pressure inside the cow and milk her
at the same time. You need help. Eat the nougat cage
in the solar to release the carrion crow. It will fly
outside the castle to the south.

To travel outside, lower the drawbridge by
eating the toffee chain in the gatehouse.
The havarti guard will try to stop you.
Eat his swordfish and then eat him.

Eat the chitterlings inside the cow to cover yourself
with gore. Now the crow will follow you. After you’ve
eaten the baron, you can take the crow through the
fireplace to the great hall’s south end. Travel to
the great hall’s north end again to milk the cow.

  III. Eating the Scorpion Peppers

If you ate a scorpion pepper, you might want to
visit the buttery below the kitchen for a drink.

  IV. Ending the Game

Once you’ve eaten all six courses, you’ll weigh enough
to lower the floor by standing in the balance gallery.
When the golden door opens, walk northward into the
chapel. Examine the altar. Drink the cup.
